Ingredients used + their medicinal purpose:

Cinnamomum Burmanii (Cinnamon): Origin- Indonesia
Cinnamon has been used for thousands of years, dating back to ancient Egypt. It contains powerful medicinal properties, and is used in this blend for it's blood-sugar balancing, antioxidant rich benefits.

Glycyrrhiza glabra (Liquorice Root): Origin- Uzbekistan
Liquorice root is one of the most widely used herbs worldwide and is the single most used herb in Traditional Chinese Medicine today. It is used for digestive issues, fatigue, eczema and menstrual symptoms. The liquorice root in this blend has been increased for additional taste and sweetness.

Schisandra chinensis: Origin- China
It is one of the 50 fundamental herbs in Traditional Chinese Medicine and is said to contain all five basic flavors: salty, sweet, sour, pungent, and bitter.  

Taraxacum officinale (Dandelion Root): Origin- US
Dandelion was traditionally used in many systems of medicine to support digestive and gastrointestinal health. Additionally, dandelion was traditionally used to support liver health, healthy urinary funtion and has mild diuretic action

Cichorium intybus (Chicory Root): Origin- India
Chicory root is known for its prebiotics benefits, aiding bowel movements and improving blood sugar. Also well known as a coffee replacement.

Rumex crispus (Yellow Dock): Origin- Croatia
Yellow Dock Root is particularly rich in glycosides, plant compounds that are known for their hepatoprotective effects (protecting the liver). These phytochemicals can help to stimulate the liver, which in turn helps heal poor absorption of nutrients and increases bile production.

Paeonia lactiflora (White Peony): Origin- China
White peony root has a long history of use for its beneficial properties in Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as Tibetan and Siberian folk herbal practices. The herb may improve blood flow, pain, hyperpigmentation, and mood disorders.

Arctium lappa (Burdock Root): Origin- USA
Burdock root has been used to detoxify the liver and body for centuries.

Zanthoxylum clava-herculis (Prickly Ash): Origin- USA
Prickly Ash's traditional use was to stimulate the body when it was feeling sluggish and still today plays an important role in this manner.
